Upcoming TLS certificate renewal for Modica API services

Scheduled for Jun 10, 22:00 - 23:00 NZST

Scheduled

Modica is renewing the TLS certificate used by our API services on api.modicagroup.com. For almost all customers, no action is needed and there will be no interruption to service.

This notice is intended for technical teams responsible for managing systems that connect to Modica services.

This change is expected to take place Wednesday 10 June 2026 at 22:00 NZST (UTC+12).

Most integrations connect using standard, up-to-date TLS settings and will continue to work without any change.

Action may be required only if your integration pins the Modica leaf certificate, validates a fixed certificate fingerprint, or uses a restricted custom trust store.

The renewed certificate will continue to be issued via Sectigo, and the intermediate CA certificate is not changing for this renewal.

Please review the certificate details in our documentation if your integration relies on manually stored certificates or custom trust configuration:

https://omni.modicagroup.com/docs/en/integrations/api-documentation/ssl-certificates/

If you have any questions about how this affects your integration, please contact support.

We will update this notice once the certificate renewal has been completed.
