Dear Customer,

As part of our continuous work to improve the performance and reliability of our platform we need to make changes to live systems from time to time, most often these changes can be made during business hours, with no impact to our customers or to their messaging, however, occasionally a key part of the system must be restarted or failed over to a back up system causing a small outage.

While we plan these changes for times that will have as little impact as possible the nature of a global business means some clients will be affected. Please contact your account manager if this planned maintenance is during a critical time for your business.

Nature of the planned maintenance: We will be restarting a critical server to push an essential change live and also testing failover of a separate server.

Time frame: The 30 minute Maintenance Window is planned for Wednesday, October 23rd at 21:00 - 21:30 PM NZDT (Wednesday, October 23rd at 8:00 - 8:30 AM UTC) with expected outage of 10 minutes

Impact: During this maintenance window we expect there to be an outage of 10 minutes during which our service will not be reachable and customer systems may receive errors due to being unable to queue Outbound MT messages, if set to retry they will then queue successfully once normal service resumes, Inbound MO messages will queue in our systems and be delivered once the maintenance completes.

If you require further information, please contact our support team.
